Are you about to suggest we add something or alter something to Brave? Don’t just tell us what you want - a lot of people want a lot of things. Instead, state your requested feature and state your case for why it should be seriously considered. You’re much more likely to get feedback from the team this way.

Hi Brave team,
I love using Brave because it puts control back in the user’s hands, especially with privacy. I have a feature suggestion that I think fits perfectly with that spirit.
Right now, the “Top Sites” section on the new tab page is automatic. While helpful, it doesn’t always match what I actually want quick access to. Sometimes a site I visit just once for research sticks around, while a site I use every other day gets bumped off. I end up typing the same addresses manually.
I’m not alone in this. Looking at community forums, other users have asked for more control for years. People have mentioned wanting to “pin” a favorite site so it never disappears, or to manually remove a site they don’t want in that list without clearing their whole history. The common wish is for a simple way to customize that space to match our personal workflow.
My suggestion is to add a manual override option. It could be as simple as:
1. A small “lock” or “edit” icon on the new tab page to enter customization mode.
2. In this mode, we could drag sites to reorder them, pin them permanently, or remove specific ones with an ‘X’.
3. The automatic list could still fill in any empty spots or appear in a separate “Suggested” row.
This would make the new tab page truly mine and save me a lot of clicks. It feels like a natural extension of the control Brave already gives us.
Thanks for your time and for building a great browser. I hope this feature gets considered.
Best,
A Brave user
BTW I wrote the previous text with AI so it looks weird, excuse me because my English is bad
