Pls add the feature where u can add custom DNS on brave iOS I would love to use NextDNS with brave and make it support DoH addresses

May interest:

I have not used NextDNS. I manually enter my Internet service’s DNS servers’ IP addresses in the iOS network settings.

Brave shields override NextDNS

To set custom DNS on Brave iOS, go to iOS Settings > Wi-Fi > tap your network > Configure DNS > Manual, then add your custom DNS servers.

Brave Shields shouldn’t affect your DNS at all. On iOS, DNS settings are handled at the system level, so Brave relies on whatever you’ve set in your device settings. What makes you think it’s overriding NextDNS? Have you added your NextDNS DoH setup using a configuration profile or the system settings, like williamabroy2 mentioned?

Brave iOS doesn’t currently support custom DNS settings inside the app, so I’m just trying to make sure I understand the situation better.

The only thing I can think of where you might see something like an override would be if you’re using something like Brave VPN?
