Create an extension store connected to Chrome Web

I propose creating an extension store connected to the Chrome web browser, but with a Brave-like interface. Why a store connected to the Chrome web browser? Because Chrome already has over 200,000 extensions, so there’s no need to contact developers to publish their extensions on a separate store. All browsers are connected to the Chrome Web Store, and that’s what Brave lacks: you can’t install extensions directly on the browser. This idea would bring many people to Brave. If you like my idea, feel free to comment, and I’m here to help create the future store.

I’m confused, I can go to either Edge’s extension store, or Chrome’s, and indeed just install them from those pages into the browser directly.

In fact, there may be legal reasons why they cannot just “hang off” of Chrome’s store. It’s their curation, just like Microsoft doesn’t hang off of Chrome but run their own store front.

Honestly that’s the best part of Chromium, you can get extensions anywhere. Why have one specific to Brave? I personally won’t vote on it, but we can see if others do.

I can’t install any extensions, I don’t know why, but when I try to download something, a small window at the bottom says “Download failed.”
