Implement filters and a calendar to be able to quickly find what you’re looking for in your search history. Chromium history browsing is suspiciously hard to do navigate. Please change it to something bearable. People may want to view something they browsed 10 years ago and would have to scroll for hours upon hours.

6 years down the line and it’s still a needed feature. I’m surprised no one has voted for this before.
Then there’s also an issue where after scrolling for ‘ages‘ and then you happen to not be on that tab for a few minutes, it resets back to the current day. Frustrating. The calendar view will really help.

I found this browser extension that works great. Even filters by hour. Give it a try and I hope it solves your issue as it did mine.
Just click Add to Chrome and it will redirect to the extension on chrome web store.
@Mattches Let me bring your attention to this. I agree that it has very few votes, but it’s a feature that would make looking at browsing history much easier.
There may be some improvements to the History page/settings in the future, though I cannot speak to what, if any, of the features offered by the 3p extension you’re using would make it in. Further, outside of an extension, only the last 90 days of history is retained so you wouldn’t be able to dig back through “10 years of history” as the OP stated.
