Containers broken after latest Linux update

Description of the issue: Containers no longer work with latest Linux update (1.92.134 on Linux Mint)
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Update the Brave browser on Linux Mint to most recent version 1.92.134

  2. Verify that Containers (an experimental feature) are enabled on brave:flags

  3. Attempt to right-click on tab or on + (new tab). Option for container does not display.

Expected result: Option to open new tab in container displays correctly.

Brave Version( check About Brave): 1.92.134

Additional Information: I understand that containers are an experimental feature, but I find them quite handy and use them often. I wanted to let someone know that this feature seems broken after the latest Brave update on Linux. I have attempted to restart the machine and the browser, but the containers context menu still does not appear as it used to when right-clicking on a tab or on the new tab (+) button.

Can you confirm where you originally downloaded the browser from? Was it via terminal using the curl instructions on our website?

Additionally, can you check brave://settings/braveContent and ensure that the feature is toggled “on”?

Thank you. The feature wasn’t toggled on in brave://settings/braveContent. The containers feature now works. I wasn’t aware that there was a toggle in Settings. As a FYI, I did download Brave from the website and installed in in accord with the instructions on the website via the terminal. Thanks again!

No problem – glad it was an easy fix.
