Close tabs to the left

Currently we allow users to right-click on a tab and close all the tabs to the right, but often when I accumulate too many tabs it would be useful to close all of the tabs to the left independently. My newer tabs are usually on the right, so they’re more relevant than my older tabs on the left.

Second this. I always wish this was an option and it seems easy enough to implement. My most active tabs are obviously on the right since they’ve been newly opened, so closing all tabs on the left make more sense.

I’d love to make Brave my primary browser, and I will, when “close tabs to the left” is added.

I agree, it should be available to turn on at least from //flags

Signed up just to bump this request as well. I like Brave a lot but this is a basic function that Firefox and Chrome have had for years and years…

This is an option in Brave.

Go to Settings → System → Shortcuts which is brave://settings/system/shortcuts. From there you can search the term Left and find that you can assign a shortcut to close tabs to the left:

Add a shortcut and it will work. For example, I added Ctrl+Shift+V and it worked.
