So I’ve been using ChatGPT for almost everyday (I write novels and AI helps me polish my work) in Brave and suddenly noticed that it just says “Unable to load site, please try again later. If you are using VPN, try turning it off.” Below is the list of the things I’ve tried and if they worked or not.

What didn’t worked :
- Cleared cache and cookies in Brave
- Changed from IPv4 to IPv6 and vice-versa
- Changed server from Google to Cloudflare’s DNS servers and vice-versa
- Tried using Brave’s Incognito browser
- Tried turning Shields on and off
- Tried allowing all trackers and adds in advanced settings on Brave
- Tried allowing all cookies
- Tried using it with Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge (including incognito windows)
- Tried disabling all extensions within Brave
What worked :
- Tried using Brave’s new window with TOR
- Tried using Opera (with and without VPN)
- Both ChatGPT’s app on iOS and Android phones*
