CentOS 7 glibc 2.18 required

I’ve been using Brave as my daily driver for a few months now. When I tried to update ‘yum update’ to brave-v0.63.48 I got the message:

Error: Package: brave-browser-beta-0.63.48-1.x86_64 (brave-browser-beta)
Requires: libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.18)(64bit)

Is CentOS no longer going to be supported at this point? I can’t update glibc since that is not something you want to mess with.

@Mattches for assistance here.

Do I need to provide some more info?

@kfoster17,
Sorry for the delay. You’ll probably have to update your signing keys if you haven’t already. Covered here:

I’m not sure what having an expired keyring has to do with the latest package being compiled with glicbc 2.18. Anyhow it’s still broken.
