Can't scroll after opening an image

Description of the issue: When I search using Brave Search and go to the images section, I can scroll without problems, but when I open an image and then close it I can’t scroll anymore, but I can open other images, zoom in and out, scroll when zoomed in, but only the zoomed part, not scrolling through the result images.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Search in Brave Search (or using the URL bar in Brave Browser).
  2. Go to the Images section.
  3. Open an image.
  4. Close the image.
  5. Try to scroll up or down.

Actual Result: Can’t scroll through the images results.

Expected result: To scroll and be able to see more images.

I tried this searching in Google (in Brave Browser) and it scrolls perfectly, so it’s not a browser problem, it’s just the website (or that’s what it seems to be). Also to be sure I repeated the process but not in Brave Browser, I did search in Brave Search using Chrome Browser and the same thing happens there. The problems solves if you reload the website, but it’s not comfortable to need to reload the website for each image you open to see it.

Brave Version: Brave 1.83.120, Chromium 141.0.7390.122

Operating System: Android 12

Yeah I can reproduce this consistently.
@Kaso.Aku.Thourcans Thank you for reporting and @Some186 thank you for sharing that there is an open issue for this already. Pinged one of our Search devs to hopefully help get eyes on this.

Looks like we already have a fix ready for this – just waiting on approval so this issue should be resolved shortly.
