Description of the issue:
I can no longer access my Citi account in Brave as of yesterday. It was working fine before for probably a year continuously. The site continues to work fine in mobile Chrome.
Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.
- citi.com
- Click Sign On
- Enter username and password
- Click Sign On
Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):
Error is briefly shown for half a second.
Trouble signing on? Select “Forgot User ID or Password”.
This error can also come up if you enter a wrong password, but it’s happening with the right password, specifically in Brave. Then Brave browser gets redirected back to citi.com (which doesn’t happen on mobile Chrome with wrong password). (Rinse and repeat)
Expected result:
Can use site, e.g. to pay my credit card, in Brave
Reproduces how often:
It worked randomly once last night after not working earlier. Out of all attempts the past 2 days, this bug occurred on about 19 out of 20 attempts, those being with a carefully-typed, correct password.
