Can't import bookmarks on mobile ios

Troubleshooting technical issues is much easier when both the user and support agent practice clear communication. How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. from mobile browser ios, select All settings

  2. select import browsing data

  3. choose a file…

Expected result:

Brave Version( check About Brave): 1.82.1

Mobile Device details: iphone; ios 18.6.2

Additional Information: all options are grayed out even though I can see the bookmarks.html file

The importer you chose from Settings there is specific to importing all browsing data from Safari. If you’re looking to import bookmarks specifically (and no other data) go to the Bookmarks screen in Brave (tapping “Back” in the toolbar until you’re at the root if you’re inside of a folder) and tap the box with an arrow icon in the bottom left corner and then “Import Bookmarks”.
