I believe I have tried everything that was suggested, OS permissions, brave site permissions, private windows, up to and including new profile test which was what resolved the issue for that person– but still no luck.
No matter what I do I can’t get google maps to see my precise location and I’ve simply hit a wall with having to type it in over and over again.
@asldkfhaclknsdkjlaks so to confirm, you’ve ensured that location permissions for the site maps.google.com are set to Allow (specifically, not Ask)? Additionally, are you able to view exactly location in Maps in other browsers?
It was not working on chrome or safari or anything. Even though I already had location services toggle on at the macOS level within privacy and security– I just toggled those services off for ALL apps using the big toggle at the top, and then toggled it back on and now it everything is working.
