Cancel Brave VPN - trial period

I canceled my Brave VPN subscription before my trial period ends, however when I go to my account page it says my account is still open for another month (hence I’d be charged $9.99 before my account is canceled). Since I’m still within my trial period, can you help me cancel my account without being charged?
