Buttons not working on certain sites on Brave

Some sites wont let me do anything on brave anymore such as google. I am signed out and when I click sign in, it just reloads google. I have to access my email on chrome or firefox now.

Can you tell me what your Shields settings are set to for gmail.com? I’m able to view and login to gmail without issue testing on my end.

Can you try to login to your gmail (or any account) using a Private Window and tell me if you’re able to do this?

Thanks for confirming. So a few things may be causing this:

  • Bad bits in cache: Try clearing cache/site data and then see if you’re able to authenticate as intended. Settings --> History --> Clear browsing data
  • Sometimes certain extensions can interfere with cookie behavior – try disabling all your extensions and test to see if you’re able to authenticate.
