Description of the issue:
When creating a Web App (shortcut) via Brave Browser on Linux using the KDE Plasma desktop environment, the generated shortcut does not display the website’s favicon/icon correctly in the system menus or task manager. It defaults to the generic Brave icon.
Furthermore, attempting to manually fix this via KDE’s desktop file properties menu fails to update the icon unless a completely separate, manually downloaded image file from an external directory is assigned.
How can this issue be reproduced?

Open Brave Browser on KDE Plasma.

Navigate to a website (e.g., x.com) and go to **Burger Menu > More Tools > Create Shortcut** (checking “Open as window”).

Navigate to `/home/$USER/.local/share/applications/` to view the generated `.desktop` file.

The application launcher and taskbar show the generic Brave icon instead of the web app’s icon.

Right-click the `.desktop` file → Properties → Click the icon to change it. Select the website’s icon from the system selection (which visibly appears there). Click Apply.
Expected result:
The web app should immediately use and display its own native favicon/icon upon creation without manual user intervention.
