Hello, I am relatively new to crypto and wanted to put some money in brave wallet, i bought $40 dollars worth of ethereum, a little while after i wanted to swap it for USDC, i noticed when I would try to make the transaction it would never actually happen, no matter how high I set the gas price it wouldnt send, after this I wanted to send my ethereum to phantom wallet and it still wouldnt work, i would even check etherscan and eventually it would say the transaction didnt exist after pending for ~2 minutes. I have already tried many times and i looked at other posts to find a solution but nothing worked, i tried resetting my cache and cancelling other pending transactions that never went through.
Hello, are you trying to send the Max amount? Please ensure you leave enough ETH in the wallet to pay the gas fee.
usually ill hit max, lower the value and yes i make sure i have enough for gas
Please also try the Clear wallet transaction and nonce information at brave://settings/web3.
Once reset, please retry the transaction, leaving enough for gas. Thank you!
oh wow thanks, that worked, I thought i had already done this but it turns out I was typing “yes“ instead of “Yes“ and it wasnt resetting it.
