Brave VPN results in strange icon for new YT tabs

Description of the issue:
When Brave VPN is on, if I open a youtube link, it shows up with the Fox News icon.
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. I turn on Brave VPN

  2. I open Youtube and press and hold on a video, choosing “Open in New Tab”

  3. Tab opens with a “Fox News” icon, and often spends minutes attempting to load the page (but does not - unless Brave VPN is turned off)

  4. Sometimes it does load the page, but still has a Fox News icon.

Expected result:
New youtube tabs should open with the youtube icon. Brave VPN shouldn’t alter the nature of youtube tabs.

Mobile Device details
Pixel 6a, Android 14

Additional Information:

I have tried with and without the Brave Shield, and with and without scripts blocked. This occurred the same day that I activated Brave VPN and seems to occur whenever the VPN is on.
