Brave stopwatch blocks SPACE key

Brave Search binds my space bar to start/stop the built in stopwatch, thus I can’t type space (" ") into the search bar.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Search for “stopwatch” in Brave Search on desktop.
  2. Click into the search bar that is next to the brave branding.
  3. Try to put a space in the search bar by pressing space on your keyboard.
  4. Realize it doesn’t put a space in the input, because it starts/stops the stopwatch.

I’m able to replicate this. Going to tag in @solso in hopes he’ll see it. I also set some feedback in on the Search result in hopes team will see it.

Huh, Brave Search has a built-in stopwatch. Who knew?
