Every few minutes, Brave pops up a notification that won’t go away by hovering over it (as other notifications do), or even by clicking on it - I have to click the tiny x at the top right.

How can I switch this off?

It sounds like you have Brave Rewards activated and that you want to opt (back) out of it…
You’ll want to go here: brave://rewards/ and reset the service… I’m not sure if it’s still “reset” or how they name it but I’m sure it’s Brave Rewards that you want to stop using, so check that out.

Thanks! i didn’t know it was related to that.
I switched the rewards off (I didn’t get any anyway as I was in the wrong region), and hope the issue will be gone now.
