After installing Brave on MacOS, the Mail item in my Share menu in System Preferences now has a Brave icon next to it rather than the standard Mail icon. That would not be a problem except that I can no longer select a document in other apps to be shared via Mail. Rather, it opens a Brave browser view of my gmail account. How can I reverse this change without deleting Brave entirely?
How can this issue be reproduced?
- Install Brave on MacOS
- Open System Preferences, then Extensions, then Share menu
- See Brave icon next to the grayed out Mail option
Expected result:
Wanted to install and use Brave, but retain ability to share docs via Apple Mail
