Brave reopens tabs I specifically closed myself from days ago instead of my last session

Description of the issue: Whenever I quit Brave or shut down/restart my laptop and reopen Brave, it restores the 10 tabs I used to have open in an old session from days ago. Even if i close tabs and open new ones to do other things, Brave will not remember the new changes and will keep reopening those same old tabs. I tried closing the tabs and closing ALL tabs until Brave “closes”. No matter what I do, if I completely quit Brave it will reopen those tabs on startup.

Expected result: Brave reopens tabs from my last session

Brave Version( check About Brave):
Version 1.43.89 Chromium: 105.0.5195.102 (Official Build) (x86_64)

Additional Information: I am on MacOS Monterey 12.5.1, and I believe this issue happened after I updated to Monterey.

Are you using any extensions? If so, does it happen with them all disabled?

I haven’t seen this issue myself, although I only use Brave on Windows and Linux.

Just tried disabling extensions and it worked! The old tabs don’t recover anymore. Thanks!

Coming back to this because unfortunately this solution only worked once, and now no matter what I do with the extensions I’m getting the same tabs from when the problem was “fixed”. I’m not sure what’s going on
