Brave passwords not working, no alternative like Avast Passwords

Description of the issue: Passwords not being saved and no option to save manually

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary):
1.Open website
2. Type in username and password
3. nothing happens

Expected result: Password to save

Reproduces how often: Everytime

Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu):
Version 0.64.77 Chromium: 74.0.3729.169 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Additional Information: I’ve checked everywhere on the community and it seems this hasn’t been fixed. I’ve also seen that Avast Passwords was requested, but not been implemented. I don’t remember most of my passwords… this might be the only thing that would make me go back to Chrome, which I hate!! But I can’t log in to some of my accounts.

If they have Chrome extension, you can add the extension to Brave via Chrome Web Store.

Here you go. You’ll see that I imported my passwords from Chrome… but it’s not saving new passwords, it brings up passwords that are already there.

Avast Passwords do have Chrome extension, but not from the webstore, you have to download it from their site then install it…but it only installs on Chrome, not Brave.
