I was trying to verify my site danielcolinjames.com, and since it’s hosted with Github Pages, I had to figure out how to make a directory starting with a “.” publicly visible. While I was testing the visibility of that folder and its contents, I clicked Retry a bunch of times, and now, even though the file is definitely visible, it says it can’t find it:

Do I just have to wait awhile for it to actually look again for the file?
