I downloaded brave browser wanting to have more privacy and was interested in the crypto part, I got it on my phone first and quickly realized it would be better on pc. I have reinstalled it multiple times but it keeps crashing! when I open it I have about 30/20 seconds and then it crashes. I really do want to use this browser but this is just unusable! if you know of any fixes please help.
Can you list out your Device Specs?
Worth checking whether disabling Hardware Acceleration stops the crashes.
Quickly (before Brave crashes) do the following:
- Open Brave and load
brave://settings/system. - Disable
Hardware Acceleration. - Relaunch Brave.
go into your files and completely delete the brave folder to make sure nothing is left from the uninstall and from there do a clean install.
I disabled it but it still crashed

and I have a 64 bit operating system
Are there any crash reports over brave://crashes ?
even when it crashes it doesn’t say there are any
