Brave is very slow to Startup on Mac

Clearing cache/data/all/clear on exit works temporarily. When Mac is put to sleep and logged back in I get the spinning ballon for 3 minutes again. I shouldnt have to clear everything at all like I don’t with Firefox. Seems to be a problem with Brave.
