Writing a link to an NFC tag

Tapping said NFC tag to initiate going to the link

Press the notification to open Brave
Expected result: You would expect for the link to open
Brave Version( check About Brave): Version 1.86 (144)
Mobile Device details: iPhone 14 Pro, Latest iOS
Additional Information: I tried setting Safari as my default browser and then tapping the NFC tag and it does successfully open the link in the browser. it seems that the Brave browser just kinda opens and does nothing. Its evident even from the notification. The notification for Safari says “open [link] in safari” whereas Brave just says “Open Brave”
