Description of the issue: Brave randomly freezes after later update.
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Play youtube vids for a while

  2. Brave randomly freezes (entirely - not just the tab, the whole thing) - needs forced shutdown via task manager.

  3. Windows 11 (x64), Version 25H2, and logged into Youtube.

Expected result: Brave browser as a whole freezes - becomes unresponsive.

Brave Version( check About Brave): v1.88.132 (x64)

Additional Information: The issue started happening with the latest update.

Seeing the same issue. Brave is up to date

Brave 1.88.132 (Official Build) (arm64)

Chromium: 146.0.7680.80

macOS 26.3.1. Noticing it especially after watching 2-3 videos, using Leo to summarize the videos. Logged in to YouTube with YT premium, so no ads, have shields turned off.

Few other observations - whatever it is, it’s locking up the UI at the tab level. Closing the Leo pane does not result in the browser view changing or expanding back. Reload does not work. Only thing that seems to work is killing the tab entirely. I can then go back to browsing YT, reviewing my watch later, summarizing things with Leo, and then anywhere from 2-5 videos in it all just locks up. Kill tab, repeat.
