Brave doesn't open on a Mac running Sierra OS (10.12.6)

I installed Brave (several times) and when I click on the icon nothing happens (not even a warning or an error message).

I’ve read the threads that suggests deleting Brave folder on Application SUport, but there is no such folder in my Libraries:
