Am running the brave beta version, but I have the following problem with the updating of brave, can update the beta version and it tell me relaunch so I click this and when Brave opens again check that the beta version has been updated and get the same message again to do the same again.
version 1.18.67.

Can you try re-downloading (if necessary) and re-running the Brave Beta installer? Note that doing this with a version of the browser already installed will only fetch and apply the newest updates – it will not overwrite any data, so no need to backup or anything.
Download the installer using the link above, run it, then open Beta and see if it’s properly updated.
