Brave crashes after using sync

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Install sync in brave://flags, restart the browser
  2. Activate sync in 2 devices: PC and Phone
  3. Install sync in brave://flags with another PC sync, with text activation.
  4. Activate sync in that device
  5. Start browsing and it will start crashing

Expected result: Browsing as normal with sync

Brave Version 1.10.93 (x64) Official Build

Additional Information: DuckDuckGo extension is installed in both PC’s, Grammarly installed only in the first device mentioned.

That’s the reason why Sync is temporarily disabled for desktop since v.1.3 and higher. Brave Sync temporarily disabled on Desktop and https://support.brave.com/hc/en-us/articles/360042159452-How-do-I-re-enable-Brave-Sync-

Sync v2 is in the works. And this will fix the issue and re-enable Sync. Brave Sync v2 soon available in Nightly, will disable Sync v1
