I did download the installer for Brave and it did stay open longer, however, usually after about 30 min to 1 hour it would crash again. The Beta Brave stays up. Cyn

Can you try just downloading and re-running the installer (no need to uninstall)?
Yes I have been trying this daily, to download and then leave it open to see if it crashes. It always does, sometimes faster than others. Any new thoughts? Cyn

I was trying to type it all! and didn’t need to! Thank you so much for this help! However, it only stayed open about 3 minutes before it slammed shut and crashed! I will try restarting my laptop to see if that makes a difference, it didn’t. I restarted and it went down very quickly! So I do not think this helped at all.

Next do I try to do the “takedown” list? The previous file and folder permissions changed the owner to me, cyntexas. It looks like this is changing these two, “takedown” and “icacls” back to Administrators? I am not this advanced and just want to make sure I am not going to mess up the laptop?

By the way the 3 commands I did, (takeown, icacls, and icacls inheritance) all took and completed, but did not help, it crashed almost immediately.

It looks like this is an out of memory error getting thrown. I assume that you’re not seeing this with other browsers or apps?
