Description of the issue:
When I click the Profiles button to open a different profile, the browser closes.
How can this issue be reproduced?
- Click the Profile button.
Expected result:
Open list of profiles so can switch to a different profile.
Brave Version( check About Brave):
Version 1.23.75 Chromium: 90.0.4430.93 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Additional Information:
I can go to a different profile by double clicking on shortcuts I have on my Windows desktop. Just can’t use the button in the upper right of the browser as I was able to do in the past.

Can you go to brave://settings/extensions and disable all of your extensions and test opening a profile?

Can you go to https://brave.com/download/, download a new installer and re-run it. Your info in Brave will not be lost. Please make sure all running instances of Brave are closed before doing so by using activity monitor.

Please go to brave://settings/help and update Brave to the latest version and let us know if that resolves the issue.
I always keep it up to date. I just did in the last day or two and it did not make any difference. Actually, it seems that this issue started right after an update.
