Brave browser not connecting to internet v1.67.119

I downloaded v1.67.119 and now the dam thing doesn’t connect to internet days without it begrudgingly using chrome. I have tried re downloading, on off wifi, disabled firewall , retest settings on brave not that there was any to reset, cleared out cookies , history everything I can possibly do as regular latopper . I’m stuck . What’s going on? Why is it the techies are always tweaking Apple also the same help ! Last few weeks I didn’t want to upload the latest variant because from experience it ends up messing my laptop up and something doesn’t work thanks dd
