If I play a video - on Youtube, Vimeo etc. - a message from Sophos (virus protection software) pops up that Brave wants to use my microphone. Why?
If i click Stop. The whole browser closes down!! Otherwise I have to click Allow.
I can’t see any settings in the preferences either
I can see someone else had the same issue in 2020 but no fix
I am using Version 1.25.68 Chromium: 91.0.4472.77 (Official Build) (x86_64) of Brave
I don’t use the Sophos app, Is there a way to tune Sophos to ignore Brave or adjust the settings per app?
I use it on my desktop. I do have an option to Allow it indefinitely which is not ideal…
When you select "allow’. Afterwards click on the sophos icon at the top right of your screen and then it will bring up the option to allow always
Opening the same links in Chrome, does Sophos complain about the same issues?
