Brave Browser Crashes When Importing Passwords and Extensions from Chrome

Description of the issue: One day, all my saved passwords and extensions disappeared from my browser. When I tried to import my data from Chrome, Brave Browser crashed, and I had to restore all my open pages after restarting the browser.
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Go to brave://settings/getStarted
  2. Click on Import bookmarks and settings
  3. Select Google Chrome from the options
  4. Check Saved password and Extensions, then click on Import

Expected result: Brave Browser crashes, requiring a restart to restore pages, as it does not close properly.

Brave Version( check About Brave): 1.71.121

Additional Information: I almost lost all my 2FA keys since the 2FA extension, along with other extensions, disappeared. I need a way to recover all my extensions with their settings and saved passwords, as reinstalling each one would be time-consuming. Additionally, I ensured that I had closed all applications related to Chrome during the process.
