It’s not possible to use on mac. Brave is marked as malware and immedietly deleted without a way to confirm that it’s safe.
I followed:
But nothing is working. Mac don’t wait for anything. After you install and run Brave, it deleted and removed from Dock after few seconds.
Adding xattr -d only makes prompt disappear and the app is removed from dock and deleted immediately.
First time I’ve installed Brave it was working, I configure it, added to dock. But after an hour when I checked it was removed from dock and from the system.
I currently have Brave stable, Beta and Nightly installed (and open/running as I type this) on my macOS device right now. Yes, macOS is supported.
I’m assuming what you mean is that the macOS system security is blocking the browser from running – if this is the case, you should be able to go to Settings --> Privacy & Security, scroll to the bottom and manually allow the browser to run (note that you’ll should only need to do this once).
So you don’t see anything related to Brave in macOS Privacy & Security after installing the browser? Did you download the browser from the official website (brave.com/download)?
Additionally, do you have any anti-virus or 3rd party security software installed on the machine?
Yes I’ve installed Brave from official website. First time I was able to install it and run. I set up everything then it disappeared from the dock, and I was not able to find it. Tried to install it again multiple times, each time it disappeared. Last time it was deleted instantly.
