Brave and Brave beta white flash on opening new tab on Mac OS

Brave and Brave Beta on Mac OS 15.5 Sequoia with M1 chip.

Brave 1.81.117 (Official Build) beta (arm64)
Chromium: 138.0.7204.157

Steps to reproduce are fairly simple:

  1. Open the Brave browser and from the settings “Appearance” → “Brave Colors”, choose dark (forcing dark theme). Though it happens even when “Same as Mac OS” is selected and Mac is set to dark.
  2. In the browser, open a new tab either by pressing Cmd+T shortcut from keyboard or by clicking the “+” button on the tab bar.
  3. Observe the annoying white flash before the screen shows anything.

I was expecting the screen to remain dark until anything is displayed.

This white flash is very annoying especially when the room is dark and it defeats the whole purpose of having a dark theme.

PS: I know that this issue will never be fixed because I think this issue has existed for a very long time. I am only posting the issue now. And I think others have reported this as well.
