Issue: Brave Ads Count Not Increasing Despite Receiving Multiple Ads (Date: 04-12-2025)

  • Device: windows 11

  • Brave version: Brave 1.84.141

  • verified custodian: ZebPay

  • Region/country:India

  • What happened: Yesterday I received more than 10 ads through New tab page ads, but both Brave ads count and New tab page ads did not increase. It stayed at the same number. This is not the first time it happened to me.

Please look into this and make the counter consistent. I have followed all the correct procedures before reporting this issue. Please let me know if i am missing any detail.

Perhaps. Just not looking through existing topics thoroughly though as there have been multiple topics asked and answered already.

Long story short, ad count doesn’t increase if it doesn’t pay anything. Ads you saw pay 0 BAT, so no count. You might want to reference Brave tab and notification ads not counting - #2 by Saoiray

Same issue with me after seeing brave ads 8ads seen balance 0 in zebpay account I am from india

Thanks for clearing that up! Yeah, I did get the Brave ads. I just didn’t know the 0 BAT ones don’t count. Also, this is my first time on the forum and I’m really glad I came here; found some super useful info. It wouldn’t have been bad experience if Brave ads mentioned such link (https://sampson.codes/brave/ads/my_region/) some where.
