Yesterday i connected my rewards account with zebpay (my region - India) and after that i have seen atleast 10 ads but the dashboard is showing zero it is not considering any.
Before connecting my account my ads counts was 40 but as soon as i connected zebpay account it became zero & not increasing.
@manjeet_1 When we connect and become eligible to earn BAT, the ads viewed counter only increases when you view a paid ad. House ads, which are ads about Brave or Brave related events, do not pay.
What this means is any ads you saw before connecting would have been when you were not eligible to earn, so they count for nothing. This is regardless of whether they were house ads or not. Once you did connect, you may be primarily seeing house ads.
This will fluctuate based on how many ad campaigns are in your area and also wanting to appear on your device OS.
@manjeet_1 btw, I should have said, if you’re curious you can take a look at https://sampson.codes/brave/ads/my_region/ to see what ads are in your area. That’s a side project managed by someone at Brave and they try to keep it current.
But it generally shows what ad campaigns are in the area, what OS they appear on, how much they pay, when the campaign started and ends, our view limit for how many times we can see those ads per day/week/month/total, etc.
For example, one below is 0.025 BAT. It can only be seen by people using Windows, Android, or iOS. (iOS doesn’t earn BAT though). It has view limit of 4 ads per day, 28 view total. It started February 13 and ends March 13. There are three different ads as part of that campaign.
Even though it runs 19 days, a person could reach total view limits in just 7 days. At which point the ads from the campaign shouldn’t show anymore since you would not be able to earn from it any further.
