my brave wallet payment date was today but my BAT rewards is not added to my uphold account automatically till now it is already linked
today was to be added to my wallet and now it shows date of 6th September

In my case the same thing happens, I imagine that the payments are still being processed.
I received 1.5 BAT even though my estimated monthly earnings were about 15 BAT. That number keeps growing only now the next payment date is September. My guess is I would need to turn on auto-contributions and that money would suddenly be unfrozen.
