I’m hoping someone might be able to help.
I recently reinstalled Windows 10 and after reinstalling the Brave browser and entering the passphrase, all of my non-pending BAT failed to appear.
I still have all the files from my original installation. Is there any particular file or folder that might contain some kind of wallet file that contains my missing BAT?

you should find a folder called BraveSoftware in your old machine data under your username
then AppData/Local/BraveSoftware
you copy that folder to your current user name folder same location
by the way appdata is hiddin folder
but wait to anyone of the team to confirm that as i do not have windows to test it

But as @Oceadge mentioned that he re-installed OS, he may not be able to get the specified folder. Can he @justsomeone1 ?

Hi @justsomeone1, thank you. I didn’t want to go into too much detail in my original post but I did first try copying the files as mentioned in this previous post:

But that did not work.
(I do still have all my old files despite a fresh Windows 10 installation (used a new SSD)).

i had issue with bats before they disapear after reinstall of my os but i did not had the old folder to do this step but since it still not working then
i will call for @steeven to help you

@Oceadge do you copy you c drive data while restoring your old files ? If yes, then you may find what @justsomeone1 mentioned in his first reply.

I have a little different Problem. My old Handy is damaged and I got a new one. I have used Google cloud, but by the new Brave-Installation, i have lost all my BAT. I have veryfied Uphold, but there is no Balance in my Portfolio. Please, help me, too.

The estimated Bat should be credited to uphold. If not, your bat goes vain.
if you have passphrase you can restore the estimated bat that you have in old browser.
if you have any bat in uphold, only that can been seen after verifying in the new browser.
Thanks @Rohit552. Do you know if the BAT from my old browser is stored or associated with some file? I guess I’m wondering how the Brave browser associates BAT rewards with a particular installation of that browser.?
