In the macos, Autoupdate keeps asking for Administrator access, presumably to be able to install the update under /Applications. However, our users don’t have Administrator access, and run Brave from their $HOME/Applications directory. Please enhance autoupdate to update Brave in its existing location, and not prompt for Administrator rights unless it really needs it.
