It looks like you’re using Android. Do you have Uphold app installed? If so, try to uninstall it completely and then try to Verify Brave with Uphold. Then after that is done, you can install Uphold again. I’m assuming maybe Brave is trying to connect but the Uphold app opened and you signed in there, which prevented Brave from connecting.
If not that, can only take wild guesses and make vague suggestions like clearing cache, restarting device, etc.
