Description of the issue: Ctrl-F not working properly in fact it’s just bizzare
Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.
- On any website where you know a specific search can be satisified multiple times. I used https://m66b.github.io/FairEmail/
- Ctrl-F
- Enter search term of tab
- There should be 98 occurances
- You should be showing 1/98 but you’ll find you’re on 98/98 you cannot click the down arrow it won’t work
- Clicking the up arrow takes you to 97/98, clicking again takes you to 95/98, clicking again takes you to 94/98, clicking again won’t take you anwhere. It’s stuck at 94 at least for me.
- I tested this on Brave, Vivaldi and Chrome same unworkable answer on all of them which means it was screwed up under some version of Chromium prior to 144

Expected result: I expected to be on 1/98 and actually be on 1/98 and being able to ascend though the list 1 by 1 or descend 1 by 1.

Additional Information: I guess it could be part of Android instead of Chromium but I’m not sure.
I’m posting it here because I can’t imagine Google’s response time to repair it because I’m still waiting for them to add back the negative operator to search which I reported years ago and is used all over the entire web.
