Allow me to fullscreen JUST the picture in picture

I’d like the option to double click a PiP video and have it fullscreen, WHILE maintaining it’s PIP mode which means I can double click it again and it goes back to its original size.

Currently what happens when I fullscreen a PiP video is that it SWITCHES to the tab of that video, it ONLY fullscreen’s on the monitor the tab is on, and it is essentially fullscreening the video effectively ending PiP for that moment, so if I want to keep my PiP mode I have to go click the button for that AGAIN.

So real life example of why this can be frustrating. I will watch sports on the side while I’m doing my work, when there’s down time or not much happening I’ll keep it in PiP mode. When something starts happening I like to be able to quickly fullscreen, watch and when the action dies down go back to PiP mode. Currently if I go fullscreen I would have to go click the PiP button again.

Hopefully this all made sense. To get a better understanding of what I’m explaining checkout how PiP works in firefox. I think this would be a really good QoL feature and something I really miss from my time with FF.

I don’t mean to be rude, but that sounds like a lot of work for something you can just create a New Window for (and/or by dragging a Tab off of the original window)… you can then drag that Window with the video on it to the other monitor and still keep a non-video, e.g. web browsing Window open and constantly have two things going at the same time so you don’t have to switch back and forth and just do as you please (best of both world, not just one or the other).
Window 1 = Desktop for web browsing
Window 2 (dragged to second monitor) = Desktop/Full-Screen for watching video.

Sorry if I misundertood, and admittedly I don’t use Firefox, this is just something that I sometimes do and it works well for me.
