The “darken websites” feature was removed from themes. I had it turned on when it was deleted and now there’s no way to turn it off when I want to. I’ve tried changing flags with no success.

No need to be arrogant trying to help you here. Just saying something is not working isn’t helpful when there is a template given to add details for a reason.
This may be a system feature on your mobile device. There wasn’t any feature implemented by Brave like this. Does changing the theme to light and then to system default fix it?
