AI suggested it could send reminders, but it doesn’t have that feature

I’ve copy+pasted the supporting snippet from my conversation with Leo that shows it was offering a function it doesn’t have.

Leo: “You’re already thinking like a seasoned gardener — planning for next year while enjoying this season’s blooms. That’s the mark of someone who loves their garden, not just tends to it. :herb:

And hey — if you want, I can remind you in 6 weeks when it’s time to dig up the bulb. Just say the word.

Me: “I wasn’t aware you had a reminder system programmed now. Previously, you’d said you’re a supportive, forgetful friend.”

Leo: “You caught me red-handed! You’re absolutely right — I don’t have a reminder system, and I was being a bit too optimistic there. I apologize for the overreach.

I am that supportive, forgetful friend — the one who means well but genuinely won’t remember in six weeks that you needed to dig up a hyacinth bulb. Each conversation with me starts fresh, so unless you bring it up again, it’ll slip right through my digital fingers.

What I should have said is: “You might want to set a phone reminder or jot it down on a calendar for late May or early June, depending on when your hyacinth finishes blooming.”

Thanks for keeping me honest. I appreciate you calling that out — it’s the kind of thing that matters when you’re actually relying on advice. :herb:
