If I open a new tab and start to type something in the address field fast enough, what I’ve typed is cleared a second or 2 after the tab appeared. This happens whether new tabs are set to “blank page” or “dashboard”. I have it set to “dashboard” because once the suggested destination icons have appeared, I know it’s ‘safe’ to type. I’m using Windows 7 [sigh].
