There is an issue with shortcuts.
Whenever I’m in full-screen mode with the F11 key and want to search for something new in my current tab, the shortcut key Ctrl + L does not work. For example, let it work perfectly on other browsers, such as Edge. I know it’s a very minor thing, but it ruins the overall experience when you have to exit full-screen mode or use the mouse every time I wanna search for something in the current full-screen tab
As I mentioned earlier, this shortcut does not work when in full-screen mode (F11)

In order for your OP to have some resemblance to the requirements of Brave Community posting, and thereby an improved chance of a response from Brave Support plus some resolution for your issue.
@Harsh_404_404 This is how it has always worked. It’s an upstream thing as well. It works this way on Chrome, Vivaldi, and some other browsers. You are correct in that Edge and Firefox have differentiated its UI to allow people to jump to the address bar while in full screen, but that’s just them.
I can see this as a feature request but just want to be clear that it’s not a bug. If you look at https://issues.chromium.org/issues/40558268 you’ll see where someone opened up an issue for it on Chromium back in 2009. And the reply?
Status: Won’t Fix

@Harsh_404_404 as I mentioned, it could be a feature request of sort. But not sure likelihood of Brave doing it themselves. For that, I’d have to defer to someone from Brave, such as @Mattches
Yeah on macOS (and I think Linux as well) there is an option to keep the toolbar visible when in fullscreen mode which lets you view/jump to the address bar at any time. I honestly have no idea why the designed it this way but it is “intended”.

@Mattches I guess my big question is whether there would be any likelihood of Brave doing the lifting to add it. My assumption is it’s a very low priority and perhaps a wontfix, where the solution would have to come from upstream.
But before saying that, wanted to field it. I have no idea how simple it might be or if it’s just considered a bit much of a lift, especially if priority on a lot of other things at the moment.
It looks like we actually had planned on fixing this ourselves. It got label as P3 and moved to In Progress state but that was last year:
