adding Bookmark folder

How about adding Bookmark folder by right clicking on an existing folder like other apps?

Now too complicated… sheesh.

On Desktop, you can add the Bookmarks button at brave://settings/appearance (Settings–>Appearance–>Customize Toolbar). This will allow you to quickly add a bookmark. The Add Folder option is also available when right-clicking.

On iOS, you can change your Shortcut button to Bookmarks and it will appear on your toolbar.

Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!

If you want to open an actual request for this on our Github or in the Brave Feature Requests section on Community with some actual detail you’re welcome to do so.

In fact I can only find one browser that lets you do what you’re describing. Chrome functions roughly the same as Brave with respect to bookmarks/nesting bm folders.

In Firefox, the folder gets created at the level you’re in, not inside as a subfolder when using the context menu:

Opera doesn’t allow it either and doesn’t even display the New Folder option in the context menu when you right-click on an existing one:

Same in Edge:

Safari was the only one that allowed me to do this:
